How to Undelete Pictures from Xiaomi/Redmi Phones

Step 1. Launch the program and turn on usb debugging

Run the Android Data Recovery desktop program on your computer after installation, click "Android Data Recovery" mode to open the utility embedded in the program and you will see a screen like the below picture, then connect Xiaomi/Redmi phone to the same pc with a USB cable. If you turn on USB debugging before, the program will detect your phone immediately and access to the phone.

If you did not open USB debugging, the software will prompt you to open it manually.

1. For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter "Settings" < Click "Applications" < Click"Development" < Check "USB debugging".
2. For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Enter "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging".
3. For Android 4.2 or newer: Enter "Settings" < Click "About Phone" < Tap "Build number" for several times until getting a note "You are under developer mode" < Back to "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging".

Note: if the software can't detect your phone, please make sure USB driver is installed properly on your computer.

Step 2. Select data type and analysis the phone

To save the whole scanning time, we only choose the data type "Gallery" and "Picture Library" and untick other data type in the new windows and click "Next" to move to next step.

Now the software will start analysis you phone and root the phone, and you will see a pop-up dialog box in your phone's screen, click "Allow/Grant/Authorize" to left the software get permission to scan the deleted data.

Note: If you see the software show the message "Root Fail", then the software only can search the existing data, you have to root the phone manually.

Step 3. View and Restore pictures
